COCKTAILS IN FANCY GLASSES:

Tonight’s cocktail isn’t anything impressive. An ounce of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, 3 ounces of club soda and a shot of vodka. My shots are 1.5 ounces, yours can be less or more. It’s quite refreshing. But it isn’t really about the cocktail. Check out this gorgeous glass.

I am a firm believer that cocktails should always be drank out of fancy glasses. Not all alcoholic beverages are, but cocktails most definitely are! The majority of my glasses are dishwasher safe, but I am not chancing it on these ones.

This beautiful glass is part of this set that my mom and I found at our favorite vintage shop. Shoutout to the Cozy Home in Monona (Right by Madison), WI. We were there one day and I bought a table. As we were walking out we saw these and I adored them, but was like “what am I going to do with them?”. Later when we went back to pick up the table (had to borrow my dad’s truck to cart it home!) I bought, she surreptitiously bought them and gave me them for Christmas!

What am I going to do with them? They might make an appearance at my Halloween party, but if not I will enjoy them for my evening cocktail. I feel like whoever owned them before me would appreciate that they were used and enjoyed!
